To pin a panel:

• Click the pushpin icon on the upper-right hand corner of the panel, next to the close icon.  The panel will slide away and become a slim tab on the edge of the screen.  To open the panel again click the button.  The panel will slide open automatically.  You can drag the navigation panel and push the pin icon when you want to fix the position.

To unpin a panel:

• Expand the panel by clicking on its button.  When the panel opens, click on the pushpin next to the close button to unpin the panel.
