Just Ship IT requires each user
to enter a username and password before using the
application. You can Save Details if you want the application to remember your credentials.
The username and password does not need to be
the same as you're eBay credentials.
Just Ship IT uses this log on information for the sole purpose
of the Just Applications license server to identify the user's version
and license information.
Your machine id, username and password are stored on the Just Ship IT license
server only.
Setup allows users to set up more eBay and Amazon accounts in the Just Ship IT application.
Forgotten password will send the user an email detailing
their forgotten password.
Cancel will close the Just Ship IT login window.
Login allows the user to enter their
username and password to login into the application.
Benefits
The Just Ship IT license server can send each Just Ship IT license
data updates. This is achieved each time the user logs in to the application.
For example we may include a new Avery label number or provide another eBay payment
option with out requiring another software install. Often you won't be aware of the update and read about it via an email, blog or the main website.
The
user's eBay credentials are not stored on the license server. Just Ship
IT provides a layer of security between you, Just Ship IT and eBay. This tight integration is important
to retain so as enumerations and updates to the database can be downloaded from the server
when the machine has access to the internet automatically.
** enumerations - is a term used to describe all lookup values for
example: country codes, telephone codes, mailing label numbers etc.
Stores
Just Ship IT allows users to add more than one eBay or Amazon store. This is simple to do:
- Click Setup
- Please enter login name and password
- Click Next
- Choose 'Add Another Store' button
- If its an eBay store choose eBay
- Enter the eBay company name for your store
- Choose hyperlink 'Create eBay token now'
- Once successfully created return to Just Ship IT Wizard click Next
- Shop details are populated automatically
- Click Next
- Click Finish
- Just Ship IT loads
- The stores can be switched simply by using the stores panel bottom left of
the navigation panel. See below
