Just Ship IT uses a central licence server to control the application and to keep
your user information safe and secure, such as the ebay encrypted details of your
account. Central information about how many machines are licensed, and the number
of stores are held for billing purposes.
To install Just Ship IT, the user must be connected to the internet to allow the
connection to be made to the license server, once connected the information will be
downloaded to the application upon startup.
Upon each start up of Just Ship It the application will attemp to contact our licence
servers to verify your account details along with updating the applications reference
data, such as new label sizes, VAT updates etc. If the servers cannot be contacted,
then the application will retry upon each susequent startup. The licence server must
be contacted no less than every 30 days in order to keep the application functioning.
Each installation of Just Ship It on a customers machine requires a computer account
in order to function, providing the account remains in credit the computer licence
will be invisible to the user.
In the event of termination of the subscription the account will be switched off
and then the application will cease to operate.
